Tom MorelloTom Morello

Widely recognized for his distinct style of playing guitar and for his unconventional picking and tapping, Morello became famous for his tenures with “Rage against the Machine”, “Audioslave” and “The Nightwatchman”.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Studies from Harvard University, he met Zack de la Rocha and the two founded the music group “Rage Against the Machine”. The group went on to become one of the most influential rock groups of the 1990’s. He later joined “Audioslave”, which expanded his popularity and cemented his legacy as a guitarist in the rock/alternative genre.

Steve VaiSteve Vai

Considered as one of the greatest guitarists of all time, Vai is an American guitarist, songwriter, transcriptionist and producer who has sold more than 15 million albums. Vai started playing the guitar at a young age, and got his major break when he was picked by Frank Zappa as his music transcriptionist. He became a member of Zappa’s band and went on the first tour with them in 1980.

Later, he joined David Lee Roth and Whitesnake. Over his illustrious career, Vai has recorded eight solo studio albums and won three Grammy awards.

Mitch HarrisMitch Harris

Born in New York, Mitch Harris is the guitarist of the band “Napalm Death”. He currently resides in Birmingham, England andstarted his career with the band “Righteous Pigs”. After doing a project with Mick Harris, drummer of “Napalm Death”, Harris joined his band permanently in 1989. He plays guitar and backup vocals with the band to this date, and has also participated in the projects Little Giant Drug and Goatlord.

Michael RomeoMichael Romeo

Ranked 91st in the 100 greatest heavy metal guitarists of all time by Guitar World, Romeo was the founding member of the progressive metal group called “Symphony X”. He initially started learning the Piano at the age of 10 but after listening to Kiss albums, he decided to resort to guitar playing.

Romeo is said to be influenced by rock bands such Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Deep Purple. Besides playing for Symphony X, Romeo has also worked on different projects for some of the most well known musicians and names in the rock and metal genre.

Nick ValensiNick Valensi

Born in 1981 in New York, Valensi is a professional guitar player with the American rock band, “The Strokes”. He had an inclination towards music from a very young age and started learning the guitar early on.

In 1998, he joined the Strokes and continues to be a member of the group. He performs the role of a lead guitarist predominantly, although he has played the rhythm guitars as well as provided some backing vocals for some of the band’s songs. Besides the Strokes, Valensi has worked on numerous projects with other acts and musicians as a solo lead and rhythm guitarist.

Rivers CuomoRivers Cuomo

As the founding member, front man, vocalist, guitarist and principle songwriter of the rock band Weezer, Cuomo is a talented musician who has many gifts. He was born in New York and moved to Los Angeles at the age of 19, where he formed Weezer in 1992. Since its formation, Weezer has released nine studio albums. In addition to his work with Weezer, Cuomo has also released three solo albums, the first of which was released in December 2007. His third solo LP came out in December 2011.

Sean LennonSean Lennon

Born in New York in 1975, Sean Lennon is a songwriter, singer, guitarist and musician. He is the son of rock legend John Lennon and Yoko Ono, the brother of Julian Lennon and the godson of Sir Elton John.

Lennon started getting involved in music at a very young age, when he helped in the production of his mother’s music and worked on her projects as well as those of her band, “Plastic Ono Band”. Over the course of his career, Lennon has released three solo albums, two albums with Cibo Matto and two albums with the rock act “With the Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger”. He remains active in the music business and continues to collaborate with different musicians and work on different projects.

Del MarquisDel Marquis

Born in New York, Marquis was introduced to the Scissor Sisters in 2001 through a mutual friend. Initially, he did not like the band and their music, but eventually got around to auditioning for them and finally made the band. In 2008, Marquis started releasing solo music and has since then, released two solo EP’s.
