Manchester is a creative and exciting part of Britain that has spawned many successful and influential people over the years.
While a lot of people with Manchester connections have gone to the top, the city is still producing top prospects and here is a rundown of some Mancunians worth keeping an eye on.
Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan’s career is growing in stature, having made her name playing Tina McIntyre in the long-running soap. Keegan is becoming a major celebrity, appearing in magazines and on TV shows and the future for her is looking very prosperous indeed.
Another actress worth looking out for is Holliday Grainger, who has become a staple of British television having begun her career as a child actress in 1994 and since appeared in the likes of Casualty, Doctors, Waterloo Road and Waking the Dead.
