The city has also got a cherished tradition in the entertainment business and has produced some of the most versatile actors to have graced the film and television. Hart is an American actor and comedian out of Philadelphia, who got his big break in acting in the 2001 television series “Undeclared”. Although the series only lasted one season, it helped Hart in landing roles in the comedy films “Scary Movie 3” and “Along Came Polly”.
Since then, he has made appearances in a list of films, including “Scary Movie 4”, “Drillbit Taylor”, “Meet Dave”, “The Five Year Engagement” and “Think Like a Man”. Hart released his first stand-up comedy album “Grown Little Man” in 2009, through which he officially arrived on the stand-up scene. He followed that with the 2010 album “Seriously Funny” and the 2011 album “Laugh At My Pain”, with the last one being his most successful to date. He is now considered an A List comedian and entertainer, and has hosted many events including the 2011 BET Awards and the 2012 MTV Music Awards.
Bradley Cooper is one of the most successful and sought after actors in Hollywood at present, after delivering a string of hit films including the Hangover series and Limitless. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Cooper began his acting career in 1999 by appearing on the television series, “Sex and the City”. He made his film debut in 2001 with “Wet Hot American Summer”.
After appearing in the hit television show “Alias”, he appeared in the film “Wedding Crashers” and “Failure to Launch”. In 2009, Cooper starred in the comedy film, “The Hangover”, which turned him into an overnight star. That performance led to a hit film in 2011 by the name of “Limitless”, cementing his position in Hollywood. He was named as the Man of the Year for 2011 by GQ magazine and People Magazine named him as the Sexiest Man Alive in 2011.
Most famously known for her role in the CBS television comedy “2 Broke Girls” that is currently on air, Dennings was born and raised in Philadelphia, and started her career at the young age of 10 when she appeared in a number of television commercials. In 2000, she appeared in the television series “Sex and the City”, and made her film debut in 2004 in the film “Raise your voice”. She has since landed roles in “The 40 year old virgin”, “Down in the Valley”, “Big Momma’s House” and “Big Momma’s House 2”.
In 2008, she appeared in the film “Charlie Bartlett” as well as the film, “The House Bunny”. She was also a part of the comic turned feature film from Marvel Studios named “Thor”, and is all set to reprise her character in “Thor: The Dark World”.
A Philadelphia based actress and singer, Bello got her first break in acting when she was cast as Mrs Smith in the 1996 television series, Mr and Mrs Smith. She then guest starred in the final three episodes of the television series, ER, and came back for the entire fourth season, playing the character Dr Anna Del Amico. After that, she landed a role in the 2003 film, Coyote Ugly.
Bello has been nominated for a Golden Globe award for Best Supporting Actress in the 2003 picture “The Cooler”, as well as for best actress in the 2005 feature film “A History of Violence”. In 2011, she starred in the television series “Prime Suspect”, but the show was cancelled after 13 episodes.

Smith started his rap career under the stage name “The Fresh Prince”, and his popularity increased when he appeared in the hit television comedy “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air”. The show ran from 1990 to 1996 and introduced him as an actor.
Smith received commercial as well as critical acclaim for his role. He moved from television to films in the mid nineties, and went on to become one of the most successful actors in history. In 1995, he was part of the film “Bad Boys”, a huge commercial success, which was followed by “Independence Day” in 1996 – the second highest grossing film in history at the time.

Since then, he has appeared in hot movies “Ali”, “I, Robot”, “I am Legend”, “Hancock” and the sequels to the Men in Black series. He is the only actor to have 8 consecutive films gross over $100 million in the domestic box office. Fourteen of his nineteen films have taken in more than $100 million in earnings worldwide, and 4 of them took in over $500 million. He was named as the most powerful actor in Hollywood in 2007 by Newsweek magazine. Over his career, he has been nominated for four Golden Globe Awards, two academy awards and has won four Grammy awards. It is safe to say that he is one of the biggest movie stars in the world.
Raw Leiba is an American actor and model from Philadelphia who started his film career in 1999 when he was given a role in the hit movie “Any Given Sunday”. He also found work as a sports and fitness model and appeared in American Movie Classics “Shirtless: Hollywood’s Sexiest Men” which included Brad Pitt, Russell Crowe and Denzel Washington.
Leiba has also played a role in the television series “Wired”, in which he appeared in three episodes. He then went on to do motion pictures both in Mexico and USA, including “Knights of Prosperity” and “Kidnapped”.
